The Rachael Little Photography Booking Process Revealed
This blog post is for all my moms who like to do their research before they jump into anything! The Rachael Little Photography Woodstock studio does things differently than you might be used to, so I wanted to pull back on the curtain on how the portrait booking process works before we even chat on the phone!
Maybe you saw my work hanging in your friend’s house, or maybe you found me on social media, or even a Google search brought you to my website. Hopefully, you love what you see and want me to create artwork for you. If you’re curious about this initial process, I’m here to walk you through it all so that you can feel comfortable and confident booking that first call with me!
The Easy Four-Step Booking Process
1. Book A Call On Your Terms - After looking through my portfolio and Instagram, and loving what you see, I hope you’ll feel inspired to start the process of booking your very own full-service family photography session with me. The first step is for us to meet! All you have to do is head to my contact page and book a phone call with me when it works best for you. You can show up to the call however you are most comfortable.
2. We Chat - The call takes 10 to 15 minutes or so and usually flies by! I’ll explain the full-service process and what you can expect. After I cover those bits and bobs, I want to hear from you! I’ll ask a couple of questions that focus on what you envision for your session. I want to hear your wants, wishes, and any fears that you have! I also love asking about your family and kids too.
My favorite question to ask is what portrait artwork you might be interested in printing after your session. You’re not committing to anything! It helps me understand what you might like and how I can customize your session to create something perfect for your family and home.
3. Book the Session - Sometimes, my clients are ready to book right then and there! I’m able to bring up my session calendar and book your date. If you need time to sleep on it, I get that too! I’ll send you an email with information to peruse. When you feel ready to move forward, reply to my email, and we’ll coordinate a date and finalize your booking with my easy online booking form.
Please note: I love taking all the tough stuff like planning, wardrobe, hair/makeup & design off your plate. I’ll hold your hand the whole way, but this limits the number of sessions I can take on per month. For this reason, I highly recommend securing your date as early as you can to avoid disappointment. It’s so unfortunate when I’m forced to turn families away.
4. Enjoy Your Welcome Gift - After you’ve booked your session, you can expect to receive a custom welcome gift from me, and we can start the session planning process.
Kind Client Words on The Rachael Little Booking Process
A very sweet client took the time to write me such a beautiful Google review that really does a nice job of encompassing my process. I’ll let you read it here!
“Rachael offers more than just photos, she provides a personal, heartfelt experience. Rachael spends time getting to know you and your family.
She chats with you, and is in touch multiple times before your session. In the past, I spent a lot of time and money purchasing family outfits for photography sessions. Rachael's beautifully curated studio wardrobe relieved me of that stress and worry.
Her style of images is classic, clean and scerene, and her wardrobe matches that feel. During our session, Rachael turned the chaos created by my little ones into moments of peace.
You would honestly never know how truly wild my children are by the magical images she captured. Rachael made sure the canvas pictures and frames we chose were perfect, and we appreciated getting to see them mocked up in life size projections in her studio before ordering.
You won't regret working with Rachael. It is an investment that you will cherish for a lifetime. We can't wait to add more pieces to our gallery wall!” - Nicole B.
