First Time Parents Welcome Beautiful Baby Boy
Newborn Session
This week's featured newborn session was so much fun to photograph in my Woodstock studio. Mom, Catlin and Dad, Mario are such a sweet couple with a great sense of humour. Mario was making so many jokes, keeping Catlin laughing throughout the entire session!
As first time parents, Catlin and Mario, wanted to remember these adorable moments with their baby boy, Luka. The cuddles and snuggles of the newborn stage fly by! So, it’s nice to have a photographed reminder of those warm cuddles. Catlin and Mario particularly enjoyed the photographs of Luka showing off his bright, blue eyes. Luka was happy to look at Mama and Dada with inquisitive expressions and adoring eyes during the laughter filled session.
Mario told me the story of how they met and became a couple. Mario is a truck driver, while Catlin works in dispatch, and they were introduced to one another through a co-worker. Mario joked that Catlin has a GPS on him all day!
Complimentary studio wardrobe was provided for Mom, Dad, and baby for this session. This made preparation for Catlin much easier! There was no stress about what to wear on camera, or spending extra money on new outfits for the whole family. During the wardrobe consultation I sent Catlin home with the cute, grey fitted onesie she chose for Luka. This meant Luka didn’t need to be disturbed or awoken by changing his outfit once they arrived at the studio. Just another way to keep your baby calm and happy during the session.
I was happy to frame and install the 2 UV protected prints they decided on adding to their home, as a beautiful reminder of the loving moments between newborn, Luka and his parents. The UV protected prints also means that Mama doesn’t need to worry about any broken glass if there was ever an incident with these portraits. Glassless portraits are a great way to keep your house ‘baby’ or ‘kid’ safe. They can now cherish these framed prints for years to come, and show Luka in the future, the unconditional love his parents so sweetly showed for him as a baby.
